Bachelor in Computer Application:

About the course: It’s a three year course from IGNOU,
Course: there would be total 6 six semesters, and semester duration would be 6 months.

Eligibility Criteria: for the admission in BCA in ignou you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a distinct subject. In case you did not studied math as distinct, you will have to go for CIC certificate with your first semester of B.C.A in IGNOU.

All such students must have to clear cic in first two semester otherwise your would not be eligible for the third semester of BCA.

Fee Structure: BCA fee for per semester in IGNOU would be 3000. The fee structure can be revised as per university rules. You have to pay the fee semester wise.
Payment Mode: Draft in the name of IGNOU payable at concerned Regional Centre.

Bachelor of computers application (B.C.A ) is a undergraduate course in India. It’s a three year degree course offered by many govt and private universities in India. There are basically 6 semesters in total three years, one semester for 6 month. B.C.A covers subjects like basics of computers, programming language, computer networks, networking, database management, designing etc. Apart from computer it also consist mathematics, statistics, accounting, probability and finance.


Eligibility: Many universities offers B.C.A course and have different kinds of elegibility criteria.
Delhi University: B.C.A from delhi university demands Mathematics, science, and physics at 10+2 standard and the course duration is three year.

Kurukshetra University: in case of B.C.A from Kurukshetra university which is in Haryaha, the requirement is just Enlish at 10+2 level and yes the course duration for B.C.A from Kurukshetra University is 3 years.

Maharishi Dayanand Univeristy (M.D.U). for the eligibility in MDU you just need you 12th standard certification to get admission in BCA course.

Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut: You just need to have XII pass certification.

Jamia Hamdard University: 50% marks in 12th class plus mathematics and the admission are provided on the merit basis. Total semester are 6 for BCA.

IGNOU : BCA IGNOU demands math at 10+2 as distinct subject

Course material for BCA course:-

Basic computer awareness, c programming, organizational behavior, communication skills, math, English, data structure, file system, data processing, financial accounting (computer based), stats, operation system, object oriented programming, system analysis, design, testing and quality assurance, unix, windows, computer network, visual studio, e-commerce, uml, DBMS, networking concepts etc.

Fee Structure: total course fee for 6 semesters would be around 20,000 to 30,000 depends on university.
